“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly…” —1 Peter 4:8a
Youth and children form the main social fabric of many villages and towns in Galilee, Israel. However, social anxieties, lack of hope, and violent attacks are on the rise among the youth and children. Churches are ill-equipped in addressing their escalating challenges.
In trying to address violence at schools, Arab Israeli Bible Society (AIBS) seeks to work directly with schools and churches in engaging the youth and children through Bible-based programmes of Christian values in dealing with their feelings, faith, and hope. This includes Scripture distribution, Bible summer camps, and Bible quizzes designed specifically to engage these young people.
We must arise to help these youth and children who are experiencing hardships, through family-oriented ministry to influence the youth and children at schools and their families with the Word of God. This will help to bring them hope and provide them with Biblical tools for which to face the storms of life and rise from their difficult challenges.
With your generous support, The Bible Society of Singapore will partner with our sister Bible Societies to help the marginalised youth and children, students with learning disabilities and special needs by sharing the love of Christ to build a better future through God’s Word. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of many others. To God be the glory!
