The Alphabet Project has partnered with SSO @ Bukit Merah, We Love Learning Centre (WeLL) and Yayasan MENDAKI Singapore in the Happy Learners Programme for young children from identified families living in Henderson. Volunteers from Singapore Management University (SMU) and National Institute of Education (NIE) will befriend and engage the children through a 15-month weekly evening programme. The Happy Learners Programme comprises educational and teambuilding activities to develop the children’s social and emotional learning. Through regular engagement with their parents, the Happy Learners Programme also hopes to nurture strong parental support for the children’s learning.
