Through this first distribution exercise, our generous volunteers from different age groups and backgrounds readily took up the opportunity to show their love and care, and bring about immense cheer and joy to the unseen neighbours who are in need.
HIA was honoured to have Ms Denise Phua Lay Peng, the Central Singapore Community Development Council – CDC Mayor and Mr Lee Kim Hua, the Senior Director of Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) who were the special volunteers in this initiative, to bring Valentineโs Day love and warmth and to show love through distribution of these items to the needy neighbourhood.
Special thanks to all our sponsors Far East Organization, The Food Bank Singapore, GoFarm, and SowCare, and the support from Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth – MCCY and Singapore Kindness Movement for making all this possible.
