Pope St John Paul II coined the terms “culture of life” and “culture of death” which he introduced in his 1995 encyclical, Evangelium Vitae. The “culture of life” is an idea drawn from the Scriptures. It explains the nature of human dignity based on the sacredness of human life (cf. Genesis 1:27).
This annual lecture will explore the “culture of life” as a theological concept and how we can promote a “Gospel of life” open to life or believers and everyone.
Catch our Keynote Speaker, the Archbishop of the Roman Catholic, and Archdiocese of Singapore, his eminence, Cardinal William SC Goh, as he shares his insights about the “culture of death”.
